What is the Pink Stuff?

The Pink Stuff paste is popular on TikTok because of its miraculous ability to clean everything, from sneakers ( it works pretty good), to rusty pots to bathroom tiles. It could be mistaken for bubblegum, as it looks somewhat like Silly Putty.

It can be used on pans, grills, glass, ceramic tiles (sinks), cook tops, copper, and more, according to Stardrops, the company that makes the Pink Stuff.

Other formulations of Pink Stuff are also available, such as a toilet cleaner or a multipurpose spray. You can check current pricing here.

What’s the Secret?

You will receive a small container containing the paste. Use a sponge or cloth to apply the paste to your cleaning materials. It can be left to dry or you can start cleaning.

It’s very abrasive so you should test it first on a small area. Then, apply the product gently. You shouldn’t leave the Pink Stuff on the surface for too long if you are concerned about it. It didn’t make any difference to me that it was left on for so long.

What surfaces can The Pink Stuff be used on?

Pink Stuff can be used on many surfaces. You can use it on glass, tile, stovetops and stainless steel as well as porcelain. You can spot test it if you are unsure, or if you are trying it for the first time. This will ensure that there are no micro scratches. This is particularly important for varnished or painted surfaces. Pink Stuff is popular for cleaning oven interiors, such as glass doors. It dissolves cooked-on grime from oven grates. It is a favorite ingredient for use on cooktops. Pink Stuff can remove scorch marks from toasters, toaster ovens, and makes fridge and dishwasher doors shine, regardless of whether they are stainless steel or any other material.

Is there anything The Pink Stuff should not be on?

Although the product is gentle, it can still leave small scratches on some surfaces. This can be a problem so make sure to test the cleaner on an inconspicuous spot first. You should not use the cleaner on any heat or hot surfaces. This means that you should wait until your oven cools or for the pot to cool completely before cleaning.

There are other ways to use the pink stuff around your home

1. Grout and tiles

We love to revive old and worn-out tiles with The Pink Stuff. You’ll be amazed how much it can brighten your old kitchen or bathroom tiles by using a sponge or old toothbrush.

2. Shine on your sink

Grubby marks on your sink and general buildup of grime can quickly ruin its shine. It can be restored to its original glory by using The Pink Stuff on a clean cloth.

3. Repurpose old pans

Are you a homeowner with pans that have been destined for the scrap heap? Are they soiled from food or have scorch marks? You don’t have to be embarrassed about your pans being scorched. With a little bit of The Pink Stuff, you can get them back to their best. Although it takes some time, it is totally worth it for the cost of new pans.

4. Watermarked glass

The Pink Stuff can be used to restore glass items with watermarks, or just dullness. The Pink Stuff can help bring back vases that have become murky over time.

Is The Pink Stuff Worth It?

Absolutely! It worked flawlessly on every surface that we tested it on. You can leave it on for between 5-10 minutes to tackle more difficult stains. It leaves behind a powdery residue so make sure you rinse it well. It brought life to dull grout and tiles in the kitchen, and made white trainers look white again!
